Job summary

University Of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation is seeking a Prospect Research Analyst to identify major donors, assess giving capacity, and prepare materials for fundraisers. You will collaborate with the Prospect Management team, maintain donor records in the database, and help shape UMAF's fundraising strategy to support UMass Amherst students and faculty.

The role is full-time and hybrid, with responsibilities spanning research, data management, and cross-team partnership, requiring strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
High integrity and ability to work independently and in a team.
Experience with prospect research tools (LexisNexis, iWave, Aidentified, IRS 990s, SEC filings) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Identifies prospective major donors and analyzes giving potential to inform fundraising strategy.
Prepares donor and prospect materials for fundraisers and senior leadership.
Maintains accurate donor information in UMAF's donor database and supports process improvement.
