Job summary

Pasadena Humane is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to lead the strategic identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major donors. You will manage a portfolio of 100–150 prospects and work with cross-functional teams to deepen the major gifts pipeline in Pasadena.

The role focuses on planning donor engagements, crafting tailored strategies, and ensuring stewardship across communications, events, and recognition activities to advance the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in donor relations at a nonprofit.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
• Experience stewarding donors at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM and social media.
• Excellent written and verbal donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a portfolio of major gift prospects ($1,200+).
• Develop solicitation strategies for major donors.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for 100–150 prospects.
• Coordinate donor recognition in publications.
• Plan donor cultivation events with the team.
• Prepare donor profiles with the Development team.
