Job summary

Pasadena Humane is seeking an experienced Individual Giving Manager to strategically identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors at the $1,200+ level. You will manage a portfolio of 100–150 prospects and work across departments to deepen the major gifts pipeline and secure meaningful gifts for Pasadena Humane.

You will develop tailored donor strategies, coordinate solicitations, prepare timelines, and collaborate with the Chief Philanthropy Officer and CEO to reach fundraising goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of donor relations experience in a non-profit setting.
• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
• Experience stewarding donors at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM and social media platforms.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a portfolio of major gift prospects with 1,200+ gifts.
• Develop donor strategies and written plans with timelines.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for 100–150 prospects.
• Coordinate cultivation, solicitation and stewardship meetings.
• Support Chief Philanthropy Officer and executive team in gifts.
• Oversee donor recognition and donor lists for publications.
