Job summary

The Indivisible Project in Washington, DC is hiring a Major Gifts Manager or Senior Manager to lead major gifts fundraising, targeting a multi-million dollar goal and stewarding donors giving $2500+. Qualifications

• 5+ years fundraising experience with major gift cultivation, stewardship, and moves management.
• Demonstrated experience meeting million+ annual targets.
• Superior writing skills for development materials (thank-you notes, proposals, etc.).
• Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with knowledge management systems.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with major gift donors and steward existing donors.
• Expand network of potential donors and facilitate introductions.
• Organize trips and events for leadership across the country.
• Develop stewardship, cultivation, and moves management strategies.
• Collaborate with digital team to cultivate mid-level digital donors.
• Record key information and outreach in donor database and stewardship calendar.
• Collaborate across departments within the organization.
• Potentially manage 1-2 staff and 2-3 short-term consultants in target locations.
