Job summary

The Nature Conservancy seeks a Donor Relations Manager to plan and implement fundraising activities for major and deferred gifts supporting the One Future: Together We Find a Way campaign. You will cultivate donor relationships, qualify major gift prospects, and build a portfolio of 75–125 donors capable of gifts up to $50,000.

The role is hybrid in the Twin Cities with 2 days in the Minneapolis office and 3 days remote; travel weekly for donor visits and quarterly cross-state travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience.
• Major gift and direct fundraising experience.
• Managing a qualified major gift portfolio of at least 75 donors.
• Experience building relationships with donors, volunteers, and staff.
• Experience in managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.
• Travel locally for donor visits, quarterly across states.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement fundraising activities for major gifts.
• Qualify major gift prospects through donor discovery.
• Build and manage a portfolio of 75–125 donors.
• Conduct 75–125 visits and 225–375 moves annually.
• Use donor database to update information and track activity.
• Coordinate meetings, field trips, events, and correspondence.
