Job summary

Benedictine Living Community-Winona is seeking a Foundation Development Director to lead fundraising for Benedictine communities. You will build major gift pipelines, manage donor relationships, and collaborate with the Support Center and operational leadership teams to meet annual goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, communications or related field.
• Three years of fundraising or development experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with major gift solicitation.
• Experience with volunteer boards.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Secures philanthropic funds to meet/exceed annual goals and reports monthly metrics.
• Identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards major gift donors; manages a portfolio of at least 75 prospective donors.
• Partners with leadership to ensure engagement and coordinated communication with stakeholders.
• Oversees donor data and ensures confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values in day-to-day activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
