Job summary

The University of Cincinnati Foundation seeks an Associate Director of Development for the College of Engineering and Applied Science. This exempt role reports to the Senior Director of Development and leads fundraising activities, donor cultivation, and collaboration across college and UCF teams.

Responsibilities include managing a donor portfolio, soliciting gifts of $50,000+, coordinating proposals, maintaining records, and supporting advisory boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of major gift fundraising experience, or advanced degree with 2-3 years experience.
• Record of successful gift solicitation and closure.
• Ability to travel, valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse groups and foster relationships.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, build, and manage a portfolio of donors; solicit $50,000+ gifts.
• Collaborate with staff in prospect development, gift planning, and stewardship.
• Maintain relationships with faculty and external relations personnel.
• Assist develop proposals and gift agreements per policy.
• Recruit and involve volunteers for college activities and advisory boards.
• Maintain donor files and monthly performance reports.
• Document donor interactions and outcomes in reports.
• Participate in the prospect and clearance process.
