Job summary

Weber State University invites applications for the role of Development Director for the Dumke College of Health Professions. The hire will lead major gift fundraising and manage a portfolio of 45–50 prospects with annual 165 contacts.

The position reports to the Campaign Director and aims to expand donor engagement, secure gifts over $35,000, and support Amplify Weber State initiatives with a strong focus on scholarships and teaching excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in private fundraising, marketing, sales, communication, psychology, business management, or related fields.
• One year of experience in private fundraising.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience in higher education or nonprofit setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects capable of gifts over $35,000.
• Manage a portfolio of 45–50 major gift prospects with ~165 annual contacts (including ~44 qualification contacts).
• Complete a minimum of 15 major gift solicitations per year.
• Collaborate with college leadership and Campaign Director to expand donor base and support fundraising goals.
