This position will provide specialized mechanical and thermal engineering support for power generation projects involving simple-cycle and combined-cycle plants, major rotating equipment, heat-transfer equipment, plant performance, equipment procurement, and new and retrofit projects.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
7–10 years of related engineering experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience applying thermodynamics in an engineering environment.
Experience supporting simple-cycle and combined-cycle power plants.
Strong experience developing and evaluating mass and thermal balances.
Demonstrated experience writing engineering reports and technical specifications.
Experience using heat-balance software.
Experience sizing major rotating equipment and heat-transfer equipment.
Ability to provide field engineering and startup support at plant sites.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25%.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred.
Previous plant-site engineering experience strongly preferred.
OEM experience with organizations such as GE, Siemens, Nooter/Eriksen, Toshiba, or similar major power-generation equipment manufacturers preferred.
Experience supporting equipment procurement, equipment specifications, vendor evaluations, and major capital projects is highly desirable.
