Job summary

Pacer Group in Waynesboro, GA is seeking a Thermal/Mechanical Engineer for a 9-month contract onsite. You will perform thermal analyses, size equipment, run heat-balance software, and prepare technical reports.

The role requires mass and energy balance expertise and field support during startup and commissioning. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in mechanical engineering with 7–10 years of experience in power plants, and (preferred) PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; master's preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in thermal/mechanical engineering.
• Experience with simple and combined-cycle power plants.
• 25% travel.

Responsibilities
