Job summary

The Appliance Loft in Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Major Appliance Sales Associate to help customers select premium home appliances and provide expert demonstrations. Build product knowledge, guide buyers from inquiry to checkout, and nurture contractor relationships for a high-touch, low-pressure shopping experience.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, discovering needs, presenting features, quoting prices, and closing sales.

Qualifications

• Retail sales or customer service experience, clear communication skills, and professional phone etiquette.
• Basic math and retail math skills.
• Comfort learning retail store product knowledge and explaining products to customers.
• Preferred: Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, retail sales transactions, product demos, upselling, stocking, and merchandising.

• Conduct proactive discovery to identify customer needs, kitchen/laundry dimensions, and lifestyle preferences.

• Provide accurate pricing quotes, project estimates, warranty details, and manufacturer rebate information.
• Close high-ticket sales to consistently meet or exceed individual and department revenue and margin goals.

We specialize in premium and luxury kitchen appliances, delivering a tailored and informative buying experience for homeowners, designers, and contractors alike. We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Associate to join our close-knit team.

Job Summary

As a Major Appliance Sales Associate, you’ll help customers choose appliances that fit their needs, preferences, and budgets. You’ll build product knowledge, deliver clear demonstrations, and guide each sale from questions through checkout. Whether working with walk-ins, scheduled consultations, or ongoing contractor relationships, your goal is to biuld trust and provide a high-touch, low-pressure experience.
