Job summary

Basalt, the signature dining venue at Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah, seeks a polished Maître D’ to elevate guest experiences. You will welcome guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and assist with VIP arrivals in a refined, upscale setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in fine dining, luxury hotel, or upscale restaurant setting preferred.
• Exceptional guest service and communication with attention to etiquette and detail.
• Familiarity with reservation platforms such as OpenTable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth, professionalism.
• Manage reservations and walk-in seating for timely flow.
• Escort guests to tables and relay special requests to the service team.
• Provide refined presence to support guest satisfaction throughout dining.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals and special occasions.
