Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Maître D or Lead Host in a high-volume NYC restaurant
• Impeccable grooming, communication skills, and guest-focused mindset
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software (Resy / Toast)
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest complaints or concerns diplomatically and promptly, escalating as needed
• Monitor dining room atmosphere—lighting, music, guest satisfaction—and adjust accordingly

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of hospitality etiquette, pacing, and reservation dynamics

• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software (Resy / Toast)

• Calm and composed under pressure, excellent multitasking skills

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Knowledge of fine dining, wine, and culinary trends is a plus
