Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs with equipment assistance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with associates, contractor personnel and client families.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawn, trim trees, and care for memorial markers.
• Dig graves and assist with interments, entombments and inurnments; may use backhoe under supervision.
• Set up chapels and graveside services; arrange seating and tents as needed.
• Install grave markers, bronze memorials, crypt faces, etc.
• Maintain, repair, and clean cemetery features and equipment; perform minor repairs.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA guidelines; observe regulatory requirements.
