Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking an on-site Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, markers and cemetery features. You will support grave-side ceremonies, assist with openings/closings, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications include a high school education or equivalent and at least 6 months of experience, plus ability to operate common tools and lift heavy loads in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and memorial markers.

• Assists with setup for openings and closings for interments, entombments and inurnments.
• Maintains and repairs existing markers and other cemetery features.
• General maintenance of vehicles and equipment; observe safety rules.
