La Posada at Park Centre, Inc in Green Valley, Arizona is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker HVAC to service and repair building HVAC systems for residents and common areas.

You will perform inspections, check freon levels, handle repairs, maintain records, and comply with safety and EPA regulations. The role requires basic mechanical skills and a valid Arizona driver’s license, with the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related HVAC/mechanical experience.
• Must obtain Arizona Driver's License upon hire.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required or obtainable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident HVAC malfunctions and repair promptly.
• Check freon levels, leaks, and charge to proper levels.
• Inspect condenser units including electrical controls, fans, and compressors.
• Inspect evaporator units and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain records and EPA regulated information.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Attend mandatory meetings and participate in training.
• Renovate and maintain apartment and common area HVAC equipment.

Essential Functions

• Responds to resident request for HVAC malfunctions. Repairs all HVAC problems in a timely manner.
• Checks freon levels, repair leaks and charge to appropriate levels.
• Inspects condenser units for all electrical controls, fans, and compressors for proper operation. Repair and replace as necessary. Clean units when necessary.
• Inspects evaporator units for proper operation, all parts functioning properly.
• Handles emergencies immediately and appropriately.
• Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor or Director.
• Renovates and maintains all apartment and common area HVAC equipment.
• Maintains all required records and information pertinent to work assignments, including EPA regulated information.
• Keeps work areas, carts, tools and equipment orderly, clean and safe.
• Works safely and participates in all training programs, as assigned.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education

Certifications & Licenses

• Must have or be able to obtain upon hire a current Arizona Driving License
• Must have or be able to obtain upon hire a CPR/AED, First Aid Certification,
