Job summary

La Posada at Park Centre in Green Valley, AZ is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker HVAC to service resident HVAC systems, perform repairs, and keep equipment in top condition.

You will handle routine inspections, maintain records, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with staff. Requirements include high school GED, 2 years related experience, and Arizona driver's license; CPR/AED may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related maintenance/HVAC experience requested.
• EPA regulations and safety training knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to resident HVAC malfunctions and repairs promptly.
• Checks freon levels and charges to proper levels.
• Inspects condensers for electrical controls, fans and compressors; repairs as needed.
• Inspects evaporators for proper operation and parts functionality.
• Maintains records and safety compliance.
• Keeps work areas, carts, tools and equipment clean and organized.

Essential Functions

• Responds to resident request for HVAC malfunctions. Repairs all HVAC problems in a timely manner.
• Checks freon levels, repair leaks and charge to appropriate levels.
• Inspects condenser units for all electrical controls, fans, and compressors for proper operation. Repair and replace as necessary. Clean units when necessary.
• Inspects evaporator units for proper operation, all parts functioning properly.
• Handles emergencies immediately and appropriately.
• Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor or Director.
• Renovates and maintains all apartment and common area HVAC equipment.
• Maintains all required records and information pertinent to work assignments, including EPA regulated information.
• Keeps work areas, carts, tools and equipment orderly, clean and safe.
• Works safely and participates in all training programs, as assigned.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Safety Awareness - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience

• Have 2 years of related experience and possess basic mechanical skills/aptitude and ability to use basic tools or other applicable experience as deemed appropriate by Human Resources.

Certifications & Licenses

• Must have or be able to obtain upon hire a current Arizona Driving License
• Must have or be able to obtain upon hire a CPR/AED, First Aid Certification,
