Job summary

Hillcrest Commons Nursing & Rehab Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our on-site facilities team. You will perform routine maintenance on grounds, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to keep the facility safe and welcoming.

We offer weekly pay, generous time off, and comprehensive benefits, with pay rates based on experience between $20 and $24 per hour. Weekend and evening differential are available, and this is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., including cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping.
• Repair facility systems: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical as directed.
• Replace bulbs and maintain lighting, including exit and overhead lights.

As a Maintenance Worker you will:

• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
• Replace burned out lights bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties in very high places.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment.
• Maintain an atmosphere of positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
• Assure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.
• Assist other in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as directed or requested.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.

Pay rate based on Years of Experience:

$20-$24 per hour

Weekend and evening differential available
