Job summary

Hillcrest Commons Nursing & Rehab Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our on-site facilities team. You will perform routine maintenance on grounds, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to keep the facility safe and welcoming.

We offer weekly pay, generous time off, and comprehensive benefits, with pay rates based on experience between $20 and $24 per hour. Weekend and evening differential are available, and this is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., including cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping.
• Repair facility systems: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical as directed.
• Replace bulbs and maintain lighting, including exit and overhead lights.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc.
• Repair facility systems including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical.
• Replace burned out lights and maintain lighting in high places.
• Service heating and cooling units as specified by manufacturer.
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly environment across the facility.
• Assist other staff with heavy equipment and supplies as needed.
