Job summary

Kerry Evansville plant is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment. You will lead the team when needed and perform electrical, controls, and PLC work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role requires a 2-year degree (preferred) and 5+ years of maintenance experience, with food manufacturing exposure preferred. Shift is 1st, with potential overtime and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Shift Information

1st Shift, Monday - Friday 600AM - 230PM, possible daily overtime and weekend overtime.

Offering $2,500 Sign on Bonus! $250 after 2 weeks with no attendance issues, and $2,250 after 120 days!

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while helping lead the team when needed.

Education & Experience

What you’ll need to be successful

• 2-year degree in Industrial Technology or Advanced Manufacturing (preferred)
• 5+ years of maintenance experience
• Food manufacturing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Advanced mechanical repair and general welding
• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
• Ability to work with low-voltage DC and 120/240/480V AC systems
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer systems

Compensation Data

The pay rate for this position is $28.45 per hour.
