Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Plant Maintenance Worker to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and piping systems at our manufacturing facility.

You will inspect equipment, diagnose issues, dismantle and replace parts, and schedule preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly. The role involves coordinating repairs with production to meet schedules and may include performing non-maintenance duties as needed.

Formación

• Basic technical education in maintenance or related field is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Dismantles defective machines and installs new or repaired parts.
• Lubricates and cleans machinery, tracks maintenance needs.
• Coordinates repairs to minimize impact on production schedules.
• Maintains electrical and pipe systems and related components as needed.
• May perform non-maintenance duties on a temporary basis.

Job Description

Job Title: Plant Maintenance Worker

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary: Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Schedule maintenance in a manner that will not hinder the production team from meeting their scheduled timelines.
• Co-ordinates repairs in a timely manner to assist the production team in meeting their schedule timelines.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• May be required to perform non-maintenance duties on a temporary basis.

Education And/or Experience
