Penns Grove Housing Authority is seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance Worker to join its Maintenance Department in a full-time role. You will perform general building and grounds upkeep, apartment repairs, painting, and minor plumbing/electrical/carpentry tasks, ensuring safety and quality.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and may involve on-call shifts for after-hours emergencies, weekends, and holidays, in a supportive team environment that serves residents and preserves

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of general maintenance practices and safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license required; experience in multifamily/public housing preferred.

FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE WORKER

The Penns Grove Housing Authority is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced individual to join its Maintenance Department in a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Perform general building and grounds maintenance, apartment repairs and preparation, painting, minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs, preventive maintenance, and routine and emergency work orders. The position also requires participation in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have experience in building maintenance or a related field, knowledge of general maintenance practices and safety procedures, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required. Experience in multifamily housing or public housing maintenance is preferred.

Salary:

$52,000-$62,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits: Full health insurance benefits and participation in the New Jersey State Pension System, subject to eligibility requirements.
