A leading company seeks a Maintenance Worker to perform various trade practices including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting. The role involves both indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks, requiring physical stamina and versatility in multiple trades. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in general maintenance and a strong understanding of safety protocols.
Performs a variety of maintenance work requiring the use of multiple trade practices such as air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Performs maintenance and repair work involving several trade skills, including:
PHYSICAL EFFORT : Requires standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tiring positions; lifting up to 50 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS : Work is inside and outside; inside work is in heated, lighted, ventilated areas; exposure to noise, dust, dirt, fumes; potential for injuries from heavy lifting, tools, falls.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : At least one year of experience in general maintenance practices.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE : One year of high school education equals 3 months of experience, up to a high school diploma or GED for one year of experience.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Three years of maintenance work involving multiple trade practices such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
