Overview

YCS is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform quality maintenance work in residential facilities, offices and external infrastructure of the buildings.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment according to local and fire and safety requirements.
• Perform minor plumbing, painting, carpentry/masonry work; replace windows; order parts and supplies; secure township permits as needed.
• Hang doors/doorframes and window equipment from suppliers; provide estimates and repair costs.
• Participate in incidental seasonal tasks such as minor shoveling and raking leaves.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) / High School degree or better.

Experience

1 year of maintenance/building work experience required.
