Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in the repair and maintenance of city infrastructure. A valid Class A CDL is essential, along with the ability to respond quickly to call-outs. Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction trades including asphalt, concrete, and carpentry.
  • Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Job description

This position is responsible for assisting with the repair and maintenance of city streets, storm and sanitary sewer systems, signage, boulevard areas, trees, and other city-owned properties and equipment.

Candidates must have:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent
  2. At least three (3) years of experience in the construction trades (asphalt, concrete, and/or carpentry)
  3. A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  4. The ability to report to the Public Works building within 30 minutes of call-out

A tanker endorsement is required within 6 months of hire.
