Job summary

Concordia at SpiriTrust UTZ is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

This position offers a daylight schedule with every 3rd weekend, a 3-week on-call rotation, and holiday coverage as needed. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance tasks, and support safety and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical work all day.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC or related certification preferred.
• CMRP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and equipment in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance: replace light bulbs, outlets, fixtures.
• Maintain heating, ventilation, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections including pest control and upkeep.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, walls, and other building components.
• Monitor and assist with fire alarm and safety systems.
• Complete painting, carpentry, landscaping, and general maintenance projects.

What You'll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
