Job summary

Concordia Lutheran Ministries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Daylight schedule with every 3rd weekend on-call. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, perform basic electrical work, and handle preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and safety systems.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical work.
• HVAC, Building Maintenance Technology, or related certification preferred.
• CMRP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and equipment.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance; replace bulbs, outlets, and fixtures.
• Maintain heating, ventilation, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, walls, and other components.
• Monitor fire alarm and safety systems; assist in safety tasks.
• Complete painting, carpentry, landscaping, and general projects.

Concordia at SpiriTrust – UTZ is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

**daylight schedule every 3rd weekend, 3 Week On-call rotation, Holiday as needed !!!**

What You'll Do as a Maintenance Technician:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and equipment in a timely and professional manner
• Perform basic electrical maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, outlets, and fixtures
• Maintain heating, ventilation, plumbing, and refrigeration systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections including pest control and upkeep
• Repair doors, locks, windows, walls, and other building components
• Monitor and assist with fire alarm and safety systems
• Complete painting, carpentry, landscaping, and general maintenance projects

What We’re Looking For in a Maintenance Technician:

• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Experience using hand and power tools safely
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day
• High school diploma or GED required
• HVAC, Building Maintenance Technology, or related certification preferred
• CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification is a plus
