Job summary

Concordia Lutheran Ministries is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Gettysburg, PA to keep facilities safe, comfortable, and welcoming for residents and staff. The role involves inspecting and repairing building systems, electrical tasks, HVAC maintenance, and preventive upkeep to ensure high standards of safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have basic experience with tools and physical work, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb and perform physical work throughout the day.
• HVAC, Building Maintenance Technology or related certification preferred.
• CMRP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and equipment in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, outlets, and fixtures.
• Maintain heating, ventilation, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections including pest control and upkeep.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, walls, and other building components.
• Monitor and assist with fire alarm and safety systems.
• Complete painting, carpentry, landscaping, and general maintenance projects.

Concordia at SpiriTrust – Gettysburg is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

What You'll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
