## Position Overview

Are you a reliable, hands-on individual seeking a flexible part-time role where your work makes a difference? As a Part-Time Maintenance Worker, you'll maintain the safety, cleanliness, and overall upkeep of Beitzel Corporation and Pillar Innovations properties in Grantsville and Bittinger, MD. Your responsibilities include indoor and outdoor maintenance, general housekeeping, and ensuring essential spaces operate smoothly. Standard hours are typically 10 AM to 6:30 PM, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and emergency calls. ## What You'll Do

Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including trash removal, cleaning, vacuuming, tidying, and restocking supplies.
• Replace light bulbs and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Coordinate cleaning around events and seasonal cleaning tasks.

Facility Management Responsibilities

• Ensure water, lighting, and HVAC systems are well-maintained following safety protocols.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures and water heaters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues promptly.
• Participate in seasonal cleaning, lawn care, snow removal, and workspace setup.
• Maintain the general condition of the Fabrication Facility.

Working Conditions

• Sit, talk, listen, observe, read, write, and type.
• Work a flexible schedule, including overtime, evenings, and weekends.
• Physical activities include sitting, bending, lifting, and walking.
• Must be professional and customer-focused.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, changing environment.

What You'll Bring

Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.

3-5 years of basic commercial/residential plumbing experience.

Preferred: Experience in facilities maintenance, with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC/R systems.

Candidates should demonstrate basic skills in these areas.
