Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory, Chandler Corps, seeks a reliable Maintenance/Janitorial worker to keep the facility and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, assisting with inspections and events, handling landscaping, and ensuring compliance with PTM/OSHA rules. A High School diploma and 3 years of experience, along with a valid Arizona driver's license, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years maintenance/janitorial experience.
• Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record.
• Successful completion of PTM background check.
• Basic skills in maintenance, repair, construction, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping.
• Computer literacy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities, equipment and grounds in a clean and safe condition.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders timely.
• Assist with regular inspections and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Notify supervisor of critical maintenance issues.
• Assist with support for all special and program events as needed.
• Assist with pickup, delivery and distribution of donations & supplies as needed.
• Comply with PTM, OSHA, fire and safety rules at all times.
• Assist with the maintenance of accurate files and records of all maintenance projects.
• Maintains and repairs facilities and equipment as directed.
• Responsible for the corps landscaping including lawn, trees, bushes, gravel upkeep, sidewalk and walkway clean up, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES
