Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a part-time facilities maintenance worker in Chandler, AZ to perform routine cleaning, groundskeeping, and light repairs. The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years maintenance experience, valid Arizona driver's license, and ability to pass a PTM background check.

• Basic skills in maintenance, repair, construction, plumbing, HVAC, & landscape.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Criminal background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all facilities, equipment and grounds in a clean and safe condition at all times.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with regular inspections and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Notify supervisor of critical maintenance issues as observed while maintaining facilities.
• Assist with support for all special and program events as needed.
• Assist with pickup, delivery and distribution of donations & supplies as needed.
• Comply with all PTM, OSHA, fire and safety rules at all times.
• Assist with the maintenance of accurate files and records of all maintenance projects.
• Maintains and repairs facilities and equipment as directed.
• Responsible for the corps landscaping including lawn, trees, bushes, gravel upkeep, sidewalk and walkway clean up, etc.
