Job summary

Baltimore Gas and Electric Company seeks a highly organized planner to prioritize and schedule maintenance, projects and testing for a defined discipline within the BGE operations. You will coordinate with field forces and external contractors to align tasks with business goals and outages when needed.

Responsibilities include leading work management processes, optimizing resources, and monitoring performance across Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant utility business experience (e.g., transmission, distribution, gas, or substation) or 6-9 years without a bachelor's degree.
• Working knowledge of PC and mainframe scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
• Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to execute independent judgment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks and projects.
• Execute and monitor Work Management policies, programs, and processes.
• Optimize resource use to meet safety, reliability, and performance goals.
• Monitor performance measures and ensure adherence across operations.
• Chair or co-chair the Work screening committee and interface with other departments.
• Apply a consistent work management model to drive resource sharing and decision-making.
• Support a learning culture with growth opportunities and recognition.
• Manage backlogs to balance maintenance work and improvements.
