Job summary

MPW Industrial Services is seeking a dependable Maintenance Welding Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of industrial equipment. You will apply welding expertise, read blueprints, and work safely to keep equipment running and to support improvement projects.

The role requires hands-on welding with MIG/TIG processes, ability to interpret technical drawings, and a collaborative approach. Willingness to travel to field sites and adapt to extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma with industrial or vocational coursework.
Technical school training or hands-on welding/fabrication experience preferred.
Minimum of 3 years welding and fabrication in maintenance environment preferred.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Certification in MIG/TIG welding on stainless and aluminum preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform welding repairs on industrial equipment to restore safe operation.
Fabricate components and tooling to support maintenance needs.
Read and interpret blueprints to complete fabrication and repair work accurately.
Operate MIG welders for aluminum and stainless steel applications.
Operate TIG welders, AC/DC stick welders, oxy-acetylene and plasma cutters.
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies during all tasks.
Evaluate repair needs and determine appropriate materials for each project.
Travel to customer sites to complete maintenance and repair work.
