The role includes welding and fabrication duties, safety adherence to OSHA procedures, and collaboration with senior welders. A high school diploma or GED and US work eligibility are required; 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• The candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, equipment maintenance and repair experience, and the ability to work in a collaborative team.
• Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to safety; welding and fabrication skills expected; self-directed attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs on all sizes and types of containers and compactors including road repair.
• Inspections on welding and cutting equipment to ensure safe operating procedures.
• Maintains inventory records and ensures adequate materials are available.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and repairs of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors.
• Assists senior welders in project completion.
• Participates in training and professional development to support company goals.
