J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Outsource Coordinator to minimize downtime on equipment and control maintenance costs. You will coordinate repairs with internal shops and outside vendors, manage urgent calls, and obtain approvals for higher repair spend.

Responsibilities include processing POs, invoices, maintaining vendor profiles, and ensuring warranty fulfillment while locating nearby vendors to balance cost and speed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage routed breakdown calls, plan repairs and update stakeholders.
• Issue Purchase Orders and process invoices for vendor payments.
• Maintain vendor profiles and submit change requests to management.
• Ensure service compliance and warranty handling with vendors.
• Locate nearest vendor to minimize downtime and cost; obtain approvals for high repairs.
• Coordinate with operations to reposition equipment and reassign shops as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
