Maintenance Utility Engineer (Seasonal) - Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines (Finance)

The beautiful Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is looking for a Seasonal Maintenance Utility Engineer to join the team! You'll enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean and proximity to Torrey Pines State Reserve.

Classification: Full Time (anticipated end date October 2025)

Shift: Varies - AM/PM/Overnight (11pm-7:30am), including weekends and holidays.

Hourly Rate: $25.00, based on experience and location.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Building maintenance knowledge
• Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing skills
• Kitchen and laundry equipment knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Respond promptly to guest calls and team member work orders to repair machinery and equipment.
• Perform various repair and maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
• Record and report completed repairs and items needing further attention.
