Maintenance Utility Engineer (Part Time, Seasonal) - Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines (Finance)

Classification: Part Time (anticipated end date October 2025)

Shift: 3 shifts per week; varying hours including AM, PM, and overnight (11pm-7:30am), including weekends and holidays.

Hourly Rate: $25.00, based on experience and location.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Building maintenance knowledge
• Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing skills
• Kitchen and laundry equipment knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot

What will I be doing:

As an Engineer, you will maintain the physical functionality and safety of the hotel facility, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial performance. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
• Responding promptly and courteously to guest calls and work orders
• Performing repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and masonry
• Conducting inspections for preventive maintenance
• Recording repairs and reporting needs
