Job summary
Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep molding machines free of debris, clean the production area, and lubricate equipment as needed. The role requires following safety guidelines, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and Job Safety Analysis training.
The position requires basic math, English literacy, forklift operation, and the ability to work overtime. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and contribute to a clean, safe, efficient production
Qualifications
- Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and decimals.
- Must be able to speak, write and read English to understand work orders and safety notices.
- Ability to print legibly and fill out forms.
- Must retain machine locations, equipment rooms and safety equipment.
- Logical reasoning with ability to follow instructions and notify supervisor when unclear.
- Plan basic day based on daily objective lists.
- Must posses forklift license and operate hand jack and powered platforms.
- Must respond in emergencies such as fires or accidents.
- Must be capable of using hand drills, grinders and saws.
- Must have good manual dexterity.
- Must follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to work overtime if needed.

- Lubricates maintenance and production equipment as required.
- Adheres to GMPs and maintains clean, safe work area.
- Follows lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Follows Job Safety Analysis training requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Supplies maintenance and production equipment with proper lubrication.
All work performed will be in accordance to GMP's.
Maintains machines, tools and work area in a clean and safe orderly manner.
Must perform all duties within established safety guidelines and procedures.
Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Follow requirements established under Job Safety Analysis training.
Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to work overtime, if needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week with two 15- minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch. Overtime may be necessary.
Must work shift hours and days of the week as required.
Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
