Amcor is seeking an entry level to competent Maintenance Electromechanic I to perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment. You will follow standard work directions and respond to day-to-day tasks under supervision.
The role requires basic mechanical and electrical skills, with 2–4 years in industrial settings. Candidates should be able to work overtime and participate in on-call rotations, ensuring equipment reliability and safe plant operations.

About the role: Entry level to proven competency position to perform preventative and repair maintenance. Works under close supervision and on projects that are of a routine nature. Follows standardized work directions and receives day-to-day direction of assignments.
Qualifications/Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education: Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a High school diploma or GED is required. Specialized training through college, trade school, or formalized work training program preferred. Skills/Experience: In addition to the educational requirements, two to four years work experience in industrial environments where mechanical aptitude is required. Minimum education and years of experience should not be used exclusive of other leveling factors described below.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl while working on a variety of mechanical/electrical machinery. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Employee is required to use hands and fingers to use hand tools. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision. Employee must be able to climb ladders, work from a lift, work with and around electricity; may be required to work in confined spaces.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often subjected to changing priorities, time pressures and constraints, and a high level of job-related stress. The work environment is noisy, and hearing protection is required for all employees. Employees must be able to wear other PPE such as eye and foot protection as required. Specialized PPE may be required for certain functions.
