Job summary

Kysin LLC in Irmo, South Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Turn Technician to make vacant homes lease-ready. You will perform make-ready repairs, inspections, and self-perform maintenance, using an iPad to manage work orders and photos.

This onsite, full-time role requires hands-on skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with the office. Competitive hourly pay and a robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance technician experience in multifamily or single-family housing.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Proficient with technology including iPad, photo uploads, email and notes.
• Owner of basic hand tools; company may provide specialty tools.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Knowledge of rental property management standards and practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform make-ready repairs on vacant homes, including painting and drywall repairs.
• Complete an average of six multi-trade work orders per day, self-performing the work.
• Order parts and create follow-up work orders.
• Conduct vacant and occupied property inspections and address issues.
• Interact professionally with residents and coordinate with office when escalation is needed.
• Self-performance may include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, rekeying, and fixtures.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, onsite with market-area travel.
