Job summary

Dayton Group, Inc. (DGI) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Trades Helper for a government facility in Clinton, Maryland. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with employer match.

Responsibilities include vehicle transport for servicing, parts procurement, parts issue, shop maintenance, and enabling safe operations. A valid license and ability to obtain government clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year relevant maintenance experience.
• Clean background required to obtain government clearance.
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles off site for servicing.
• Pickup parts from local vendors (BPA/PR related).
• Issue parts to support operations.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and general upkeep.
• Install and monitor dichlorination tablets as needed.
• Support FLETC Cheltenham operations with additional duties as assigned.
