Job summary

Magna Powertrain is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems in our Michigan facilities. You will lead a team to improve safety, efficiency, and MTTR/MTBF while ensuring compliance with IATF16949, EMS, and other standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Journeyman designation, 7+ years in maintenance, 5+ years in supervision, and TPM experience. CMRP certification is preferred or planned within 1 year.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Bachelor’s degree or Journeyman designation or equivalent.
• CMRP certification or plan to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, operate and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and codes.
• Lead a maintenance team with focus on safety, cost, quality and uptime.
• Implement TPM and standardized work practices.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and maintain CMMS records.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and manage shift communications.
• Develop work instructions for autonomous maintenance and 5S implementation.
