Job summary

Magna Powertrain in Indiana is seeking a maintenance professional to coordinate preventive maintenance for production equipment and facility systems. You will work with Maintenance, Production, and outside contractors to ensure reliability and safety of our facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance/facilities within a manufacturing setting, CMMS experience, and strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in maintenance, facilities, or related manufacturing environment.
• CMMS or maintenance tracking experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Able to communicate effectively with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, HSE and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedule for production equipment and facility systems.
• Ensure PMs are completed on time and follow up on overdue PMs.
• Create and maintain maintenance work orders and CMMS records.
• Coordinate PM activities with Maintenance and Production.
• Ensure necessary parts, materials, and outside services are available for scheduled work.
• Track PM completion and identify recurring maintenance issues.
• Maintain equipment and maintenance records.
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance and repairs of buildings and facility systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other systems.
• Coordinate facility repairs and respond to facility-related issues.
• Schedule and manage outside contractors and service providers.
• Coordinate required inspections, testing, certifications, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain facility maintenance records and documentation.
• Monitor facility conditions and identify needed repairs or improvements.
• Assist with building projects, renovations, and upgrades.
• Coordinate snow removal, landscaping, pest control, waste services, and other vendors.
