Job summary

Pexco in Wisconsin is seeking a Tool Room Maintenance Technician to maintain, inspect, and clean tooling, dies, and related equipment. This role supports Design Engineers with tool prep, assists with line setup and teardown, and provides maintenance support.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of factory experience; forklift experience is a plus. Training on 1st shift precedes a move to 2nd shift, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of factory or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, technical documents, and safety guidelines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean tooling, dies, and related equipment.
• Inspect dies, calibrators, and related equipment for wear or damage and report findings.
• Maintain an organized Tool Room with proper storage of equipment.
• Test and repair heaters, heater cords, and thermocouples; manage inventory of supplies.
• Assist with line setup/teardown and production activities; support R&D and material handling.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with quality standards.
