Job summary

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) seeks a Maintenance Technician to sustain a QRTP facility, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and function. The role includes hands-on instruction to youth on basic trade skills and independent living through practical maintenance activities.

You will lead preventative maintenance, assist with repairs, and mentor residents in painting, drywall, plumbing, and general upkeep while maintaining safety protocols and environmental standards at the site.

Qualifications

Two years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred.
Experience with drywall, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance required.
Experience in residential treatment, schools, healthcare, or behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform daily facility inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and cosmetic concerns.
Complete repairs promptly to maintain a safe, therapeutic, and welcoming environment.
Patch and repair holes in drywall, doors, and other surfaces as identified.
Repair broken fixtures, furniture, doors, locks, windows, shelving, and other components.
Carry out routine preventative maintenance and document results.
