Job summary

Ambrosia Treatment Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations at our residential facility. The role includes routine maintenance, safety checks, and regulatory compliance across buildings.

HVAC experience is highly preferred, with responsibilities spanning plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep. A valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in healthcare, residential, or institutional settings.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Able to pass level 2 background check and drug screening (HB531).
  • Experience with safety/compliance in healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance across residential and clinical buildings.
  • Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general upkeep tasks.
  • Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC systems.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and urgent issues.
  • Support compliance with Health Department, Fire Department, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
  • Assist with grounds upkeep and exterior maintenance as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours or emergency maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
