Job Description

this is a fully on-site position in Chattanooga, TN

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance technician to join our team in a dynamic plastics manufacturing environment. This role requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Perform welding and work with PLC controls to maintain and repair HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with a smaller maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in maintenance, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Skilled in welding and PLC control systems.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collegedale, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
