Job summary

West Shore in Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to prep apartments, perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and more, and keep common areas inviting. You’ll work with your hands, handle work orders efficiently, and support ongoing maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance, EPA/CPO preferred, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 100 lbs, and willingness to work weekends and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members.
