Job Title: Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our community, handling HVAC systems, general repairs, and ensuring a comfortable living environment for residents. You will work with a supportive team and management to provide top-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance requests efficiently, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks.
- Maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems to ensure resident comfort.
- Perform repairs on showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance to avoid issues.
- Maintain community pools, ensuring they are clean and safe.
- Monitor outside vendors and contractors to ensure quality work.
- Assist with landscaping, trash pickup, and sidewalk cleaning to maintain curb appeal.
- Prepare units for new residents by completing necessary repairs.
- Report safety issues and follow safety regulations diligently.
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic repair skills in electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry.
- Experience with HVAC maintenance.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, coworkers, and management.
- Reliability and flexibility, including availability for emergency repairs and occasional weekend or evening work.
- Physical ability to climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy objects, distinguish colors, and hear safety alarms.
- Collaborative attitude and positive work ethic.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in facility maintenance.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
