Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) invites applications for a maintenance role across our facilities. You will develop and implement maintenance procedures, ensure equipment and facilities are in good condition, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

The ideal candidate can read technical manuals and schematics, has strong math skills, works independently, and is a quick thinker and problem solver. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Intermediate mathematics skills.
• Must work well independently with little direction.
• Quick thinker, strategic planner, flexible, problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
• Identify / troubleshoot electrical faults in equipment and building as well as mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems.
• Repair plant equipment (steel forms, machinery, and building).
